Growing up in Oklahoma, Merilee was naturally influenced by the country music artists that played on the radio at home. But that soon blended with musical curiosity ranging from Pop, Motown, and Gospel to create a performer that brings the "classics" to life, and new material (she hopes) to become timeless as well.
